Definition:

It is any game with the presence of the ball that raises in a simpler way the aspect that was intended to improve the football game, in which at least two teams participate and that meets one of these characteristics:

  • A team consists of only one player.
  • The game unfolds discontinuously (the beginning and end of each action are established).
  • The competition raised with the game does not aim to "score goals".

 Purpose:

Training areas:

  • TECHNIQUE: Aspects of execution and protection of the ball.
  • TACTICS: Execution aspects of 1:1 situations; 2:1; 1:2.
  • PHYSICAL aspects.

General characteristics:

Respecting these characteristics, the Corrective Game achieves:

  • That the game situation to be solved is simpler (than in the game of football), since we use the minimum degree of opposition.
  • That the player finds repeatedly and specifically the objective to improve, thanks to the discontinuous development of the game.
  • That aspects such as maintaining possession of the ball when the objective is not to score a goal can be developed through this FD.

Corrective Play can respond to a global or mixed methodology.
