Activity that takes place during an Offensive Phase of a Competition Unit, by the team structured in relation to a game system, in the face of an opposition in numerical inferiority.

PURPOSE:

Basically for the improvement of the Basic/Previous Universal Fundamentals, the Movements of the system in attack and the aspects of execution carried out at the "opportune moment".

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Depending on the age of the play space and the quality of the players, the activity will take place in 1/4 of the field, 1/2 of the field or throughout the field.
  • The structured team will be placed in relation to a game system, before an initial opposition of at least P.1.2.1. In this situation, waves of attack will be carried out, or the ball will be manipulated to achieve its maintenance/possession (Rondo Colectivo). To the extent that the intended objective is achieved, the number of opposition players will be increased (until the objective is achieved with an opposition of P.9 – that is, with one player less than in 11:11, another didactic way).)
  • If the opposition manages to recover the ball, it will be allowed to make a defense/attack transition - counterattack so that it can finish. The work team must counteract with the defensive action established in Sub-phase -1- (attack/defense transition). We can establish for the improvement of this transition attack / defense (sub-phase -1- ) of the work team, that the opposition when recovering the ball can finish off the goal directly without the goalkeeper of the work team being able to defend with his hands (or even avoid his participation), in this way we force to perform a quick and intense pressure when losing possession of the ball.
  • The action will end, to initiate another wave of attack (UC in its offensive phase), when:
    • The game stops (strategy action or when the work team gets the completion).
    • In the case of "maintenance" the success of the action can be established when, without losing possession of the ball, all the players of the team manage to manipulate it on at least one occasion.
  • The work team must manifest at all times the basic aspects of the collective game (as the starting point of the Previous Universal Foundations).
  • The regulation can be "free" (real game) or conditioned (game with two technical or tactical touches; the player who receives before passing has to perform at least a driving of 3 touches "fix", etc.).
  • Whenever possible the players of the "work" team will maintain their usual positions and/or demarcations. If this is not the case, changes of position shall respect that:
    • Players in the side lanes do not participate in the center lane (if they can change their laterality).
    • The players of the central lane defenders, will not do it as attackers (if as means, and the means, as defenses or attackers).
    • Always at least half a session play it in its natural position.
  • At the beginning of the training process we can, and even must, alternate each player in all positions.

VARIANTS IN THE WORK TEAM GAME:

  • Do not pass 2 times in a row to the same partner.
  • Play one-touch (except center lane players).
  • In order to maintain possession of the ball collectively, once all the players have manipulated the ball, it will be possible to finish off a single touch from inside the area.
  • With the same opposition, the players perform the basic displacements established by the system -leave the game area- (even without the need to do them due to the minimum existing opposition, being therefore in numerical superiority and being sufficient with a positional game to achieve the objectives in the Sub-phases of initiation and progression).
  • Etc.

TYPES OF OPPOSITION:

  • We can start with a minimum opposition of X: P.1.2.1... (the opposition of X: P.1.1.1, corresponds to another didactic form).
  • To the extent that the objective is achieved (for example: out of every 10 UC it is possible to finish or play collectively without loss of control of the ball), at least 70-80% of occasions, we will increase the difficulty by introducing more opposition players (to achieve success, having more opposition, you will have to manifest the application of more Universal Fundamentals and / or increase the pace of play).

FORMS OF CORRECTION:

  1. Stopping the game. The players must get used to staying totally static to the signal of the coach, so that it can be analyzed in the "photo", the game situation and the aspects to be commented on or corrected.
  2. Correct directly during game development. We will address the affected player(s) directly.
  3. Once the Competition Unit is finished. Determine and discuss with the players the element that caused the error (for example the loss of the ball).
