To the affected parts of the body:

  • Local fatigue (less than 1/3 of muscle mass).
  • Regional fatigue (between 1/3 and 2/3 of muscle mass).
  • General fatigue (affects more than 2/3 of muscle mass.

To training and competition:

  • Physical fatigue (completely physiological).
  • Psychic fatigue (state of tension caused by lack of personal satisfaction, lack of motivation or interest).

Other factors that may affect the manifestation of fatigue:

  • Infectious process.
  • Lack of rest.
  • Poor diet.
