Changes of orientation are manifested when a team in the offensive phase modifies its orientation of the game / ball, towards different lanes in a controlled way ("associative" passes). You can perform:

  • IN a DIRECT way, with passes to colleagues of the same line.
  • INDIRECTLY, triangulating with colleagues from other lines.
  • Through long passes, usually from one side lane to the other. These changes are justifiable when the possessor has no possibility of associating with a partner (not even in "security") due to lack of spaces.

In these cases the opposite will have made a collective tilt that will allow the manifestation of large spaces in the lane opposite to the situation of the ball.
