During the offensive phase of each Competition Unit, two rhythms of play appear:

  • In the sub-phases of initiation and progression, a controlled rhythm is manifested through a horizontal game that allows to organize and find the right moment to link with the sub-phases of progression / completion.
  • In the sub-phases of progression/ completion, a fast pace must be manifested, through a vertical game, which must allow to overcome the numerical superiority available to the opponent. In both cases it is about constant, fast and variable evolutions and displacements of the ball (which is never stopped, and constantly changes zone/demarcation), not the player.
