  • It starts when the team retrieves the ball.
  • It ends when it is finished off on goal or when possession of the ball is lost.

Its objective is that the UC ends with a shot on goal (to score or not the goal, we can not consider / value it as a collective objective, since this will ultimately depend on the aspects of technical effectiveness of the possessor, or the success of the opposing goalkeeper).

In this phase, 3 SUBPHASES are manifested (in the short play style):

  • Home.
  • Progression.
  • Completion.
