System Features 4.4.2
The incorporation of a mediacenter in the LM, provides us with:
- Constant numerical superiority in THE LM (2:1 in the ball area).
- Being able to constantly keep 4 men in the LD, which allows us numerical superiority at all times, since in this situation it is not necessary - if not desired - to incorporate a defense into the LM (lower risk in the attack/defense transition).
Constant manifestation of "short" supports (15-20 m.) –for the realization of positional/associative play.
The constant realization of swaps and unfolding (zone exits) in offensive or defensive progression, having in the LM and LD a correct relationship between lines.
One or two free zones in the LA, which allows:
- A great mobility of the LA (aspect that makes it extremely difficult to mark on the other hand).
- The incorporation of the media into the free zones, and the defenses into the areas that the media has abandoned.
It is clear that effective use of the above aspects requires:
- Good physical condition.
- Means and/or defenses with offensive projection, without implying a decrease in the defensive capacity of the team.
It is the most suitable system for a training process, or for when our team lacks the necessary quality players for the category in which we play, (and that therefore do not guarantee us to maintain possession of the ball, or overcome the other way around in situations of 1:1 -aspects that prevent us, therefore, from playing positionally).
The P.4.4.2, will allow you, with the associative game:
- Zone outputs to create 2:1 numerical superiority situations, which will guarantee control of the game/ball in the Start and Progression sub-phases.
- The correct and constant application of the Fundamentals of Collective Game.
Drawing the P.4.4.2 System
*The 2 pivots will modify their location (diagonally) relative to the defensive line (when the defensive line controls the ball), at the time the opposing center (to the pivot orientation) plays with its lateral.
Example:
- When the central -4- receives the ball and moves to its side -5-, the pivot -8- will move to the position between -4- and -5-.
- The pivot -7- will take the position of -8- (-8- will not move until -4- you have made the pass since if you do it before, during the move it will remove the line from a possible pass from -4- to -11-.
System variants 4.4.2
Offensive variants:
- We advance a medium between LM and LA (P.4.3.1.2).
- We incorporated a defense into the LM and advanced a medium between the LM and the LA (P.3.4.1.2).
- We advance to a defense between the LD and the LM (P.3.1.4.2).
- We advance to a defense between the LD and the LM, and to a medium between the LM and the LA (P3.1.3.1.2).
Defensive variants:
- We delayed a midfielder between LD and LM (P.4.1.3.2).
- We delayed a striker between the LM and the LA (P.4.4.1.1).
- We incorporate a front to the LM (P.4.5.1).
- We add a forward to the LM and delay a medium between the LM and the LA (P.4.1.4.1).
System variant P.4.4.2
Offensive variants:
To move to P.4.3.1.2:
- Incorporation of the Middle Center -8- to the position of the midpoint.
- REbalancing of THEL.
- Placement of the tips in amplitude.
Switch from P.4.4.2 system to P.3.4.1.2
- Incorporation of MC 8 into the LD.
- Incorporation of the MC 7 as a half-point.
- Closeder position of interiors 6 and 10.
- Incorporation of sides 2 and 5 into the LM.
- Amplitude placement of tips 9 and 11.
- Amplitude placement of plants 3 and 4.
Variants can be completed (for a more or less offensive/defensive purpose), modifying the characteristics of the 2 sides converted to "flyers" -2- and -5-, placing in this position two natural extremes or two means "rails", which will cause different manifestations in the development of the game.
This variant, in terms of features, is more in line with the P.3.4.3 system, manifesting itself in the structure 4 diamonds, ideal for a positional game. At the same time, it is important that players have the necessary quality to ensure, in 1:1 situations, the non-loss of possession
Defensive variants:
*P.4.1.4.1 (or P.4.1.3.2.):
- Incorporation of MC 8 between LD and LM.
- Incorporation of tip 11 into the LM.
- Rebalancing of MC 7 in LM.
- Tip offset 9.
